etnies present AM GETTING PAID 2010 INTERNATIONAL AMATEUR SKATEBOARD CONTEST

etnies Announces Dates for Qualifiers and Main Event in Montreal on Sept. 25, 2010

Lake Forest, CA. (May 10, 2010) – etnies is proud to announce that the etnies 2010 AM Getting Paid contest will
be held at Le TAZ skatepark in Montreal, Canada this September 24-26. AM Getting Paid was created by the
Underworld Crew in 2004, and has consistently brought out the world’s top AMs to battle it out for the overall title and a healthy paycheck.

In celebration of the event’s 6th anniversary, the etnies 2010 AM Getting Paid contest will feature a jam format in the newly built Le TAZ skatepark centrally located in downtown Montreal. Le TAZ features a 35,000 square foot indoor street course, lounges for competitors, media and VIPs, and has plenty of room to accommodate the hordes of spectators and fans expected to attend.

For the first time in the history of the event, the etnies 2010 AM Getting Paid contest will host six qualifiers across Canada to give skateboarders from all over the chance to compete for the $10,000 USD prize purse in the main event on September 24-26. The winner of each qualifier will receive a free trip to the main event, which includes hotel
accommodations and a golden ticket straight to the semi final.

2010 etnies AM Getting Paid Qualifier Events:

· Edmonton – June 19 at Callingwood Skatepark

· Winnipeg – June 26 at Forks Skatepark

· Halifax – July 10 at Commons Skatepark

· Toronto – July 24 at Ashbridges Bay Skatepark

· Montreal – August 7 at Le TAZ skatepark

· Vancouver – August 14 at Port Coquitlam Skatepark

The event is presented by Monster Energy, LRG Clothing, Arnette eyewear, Underworld Skateshop and
SBC Skateboard Magazine, with additional support from New Era, Urbanears, Coors Light, Control skateboards, Protec, Dakine, Hubba wheels, Vestal, Venture Truck Co., Push.ca, Transworld SKATEboarding, Exposé Magazine, 33mag and Dose.ca. AM Getting Paid is widely recognized as one of today’s most prestigious international
skateboarding competitions for amateurs only.
